Those Pok Pok Wings
A foodie friend of mine recently came to visit me in Portland and was (rightly) BLOWN AWAY by the wing’s at Pok Pok. I have been living here for two years, and I suppose I have just taken for granted that fact that these legendary, sticky-gooey-salty-sweet-crispy chicken wings, (you know, the ones that catapulted chef Andy Ricker forever into the Portland Food-Hall-of-Fame), are located just around the corner from me. Heck, people fly in just to try them!
My friend was disappointed that I hadn’t written anything about them yet on this blog, and to be honest, I just assumed EVERYBODY already knew about them… (they do). Still, to appease my friend and, just in case you have been living under a rock these past few years…
